About the Band
Our band, benbaroo™, is all about music for the people... We've wandered the globe, and our songs reflect those wanderings. The influences you'll hear in our music include a lot of funk (from our Philadelphia roots), electronica and "space music", and "world music", with sounds from the Near East to West Africa to Indonesia. The focus of our music is instrumental, with occasional vocals and spoken word. The band members in benbaroo™ are from all over the world, too, and they each contribute something unique to the albums.

“Let’s Look At Me Now“… This is a recent pop EP that’s an ironic look at love, fame, and nostalgia. On this EP, the band benbaroo™ grabbed a subtle and emotive vocalist, the great Brooklyn McLaury Evangelista.
"Pop, Soul, Spirit”... What better way to talk about soul and spirit than through pop music? For this EP, the band benbaroo™ was indeed blessed to have as our guest vocalist the renowned AJ Luca on four of the tracks. Her voice brings this pop to life, singing of soul and spirit to inspire all our listeners!
